Positions available: Pediatric Mental Health Professional, PH. D, Psy D, LCSW, LCPC, LMHC

Ideal Clinician:

  • Fully Licensed Clinician Child PH. D, LCSW-C, LCPC, LMHC, LPC in the state of Colorado
  • Ability to work independently, implementing evidence based practices
  • Clinical experience with children, adolescents, young adults; creative modalities including art and play therapy, are a plus
  • Ability to support clients/families clinically and systemically
  • Ability to facilitate groups, trainings

Qualifications:

  • LMFT/LCSW from an accredited graduate school, preferably with at least 3 years post-degree experience in either/both a pediatric clinic and/or school-based setting
  • Current Colorado license to practice in a mental health field required
  • Maintenance of active Colorado license with documentation of continuing education credits submitted to the appropriate Board with a copy provided to Clinic Director
  • Adherence to all professional, ethical and legal mandates outlined by their respective Colorado Boards.
  • Knowledge and understanding of clinical diagnoses including (but not limited to) ADHD, learning disabilities, anxiety, depression and Autism Spectrum disorders
  • Knowledge of developmental issues
  • Skills in assessment, diagnosis, individual and family therapies, case formulations and treatment planning
  • Passion and enthusiasm for working with children
  • Availability to work when patients are available, including afternoon and early evening appointments as needed
  • Excellent time management and executive functioning skills
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills with both clients and colleagues
  • Flexibility to respond to changing circumstances and priorities within the agency
  • Knowledge and use of computers and an Electronic Health Record (EHR) is essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive clinical interviews and assessments with parents and clients, develop case formulations and synthesize/disseminate significant information to team members.
  • Develop and deliver psychological treatment plans for teens and their families, which may include individual, family, and parent and collateral therapy.
  • Coordinate clinical care with other disciplines including SLP, OT, Art therapists, education, psychology, and psychiatry.
  • Attend clinical staff and team meetings as assigned.
  • Adhere to all mental health legal and ethical mandates and guidelines in the execution of duties, including timely completion of charting, billing, report preparation and confidentiality issues as outlined by their respective Colorado Boards.
  • Participate in IEP conferences and other school meetings to assist school personnel in understanding client issues and rationale for the implementation of recommendations when clinically indicated
